We don’t disagree, but we’d describe these more as a contrast between the orange details and the brown nylon, making these kicks look so friggin sweet. Not only do they look sweet, the Swims Helmut Desert Boots are completely waterproof, breathable and allow moisture to move away from the skin. Swims specialize in rain gear and have brought back the modern galoshes, so we have no doubt these boots will perform against the elements. They’re definitely not a trail boot, but will be on my feet for some urban hiking. Available soon, likely sometime in the fall.
