We love fishing, and what better way to bring in your prize catch! The folks at Tenkara have brought us a little bit of japan with the Tenkara Fly Fishing Net. I think these nets are stunning, and to think that something as elegant as this has been around for centuries is remarkable. Although beautiful in design, these nets are highly functional. The angle of the handle is the main difference when compared to North America nets. The net is designed to be thread through your belt, keeping it snug to your back. This placement frees up your hands for your catch, or that unexpected bush-whacking detour. Another great feature that we like is the hand-made fine mesh that cradles the fish, minimizing damage to their skin. We luv this net! It would be a great addition to any fly fisherman’s collection. Thanks Tenkara for sharing this traditional net with the rest of us.
