Introducing the completely redesigned Santa Cruz Nomad. In its third generation, this has to be one of the best all-mountain bikes on the market, and it continues to leap past the competition. At first the Nomad seemed like the unicorn bike that was versatile for any trail. New to the redesign is a much more aggressive DH trajectory normally found in their V10’s. The VPP travel has been increase to 165mm, chain ring refined to a single ring design , the cockpit has been increased by an inch, and the redesign incorporates a steeper seat tube angle resulting in a much more efficient pedaling position. No aluminum in this generation, the Nomad frame and swing arm is fully crafted with carbon fibre, topping out at 6.2 lbs. Until you can swing by your local bike shop to try out this beast, check out the new Nomad in action. We’re a little disappointed to see the amazing Nomad being hauled up the mountain by a bunch of donkeys, especially when the Andean Mountain territory could easily be scaled by this machine.
