The Ortovox Swisswool Shirt will make you think that Down fill is for the birds. If you’re looking forward to fall camping, or just cooler weather in general, than our friends at Orthovox have a sweet shirt to keep you toasty. Although classified as a great insulating mid-layer shirt on cold days (which we won’t deny), we could see this shirt being used on its own year round, especially while out camping in the mountains. Made in Europe it is constructed using 60g/m squared of fair trade, regionally produced swiss wool which provides some of the best insulation for outdoor camping enthusiasts like us deserve. Wrapped in a windproof, water-resistant nylon, the Swisswool Rock’N’Wool proves once again why Ortovox remains an all-time fav on our must have list. Now only if they could make it a little more easy for us westerners to get our little hands on them.
Not to worry though, they are available from Bergzeit’s online store (and yes they ship internationally).
