Airstream Basecamp

It’s nice to see the all new 2017 Airstream Basecamp back again. Why is it that RV companies seem to always design loud obnoxious campers and yet people seem to snap them up like they are going out of style? That said, Airstream is one of very few that gets the RV trailer right, so when we saw that they reintroduced the Basecamp back into their lineup, we were totally stoked. The new Basecamp looks like everything we’ve come to enjoy about Airstream’s Basecamp original but with the refinement and function that 10 years of experience(original launched in 2007) can bring. Made from aluminum semi-monocoque superstructure – an Airstream staple – the Basecamp is as lightweight as they come and can easily be pulled by a mid- sized SUV (no more having to supersize your ride for all the comforts of basecamp). With the redesign they have also equipped the Basecamp with all the modern features, such as solar compatibility, Bose Bluetooth speaker, lockable tech doc as well as multiply USB ports and lots and lots of totally functional storage solutions. No matter how hard core we claim to be, it’s nice to come home to all the modern comforts of home. It’s trailers like the sleek designed Airstream Basecamp that provide functional style fit for any adventure seeking modern lumberjack.
