Cryogenically quenched and triple tempered makes for one razor sharp edge that tips the Rockwell scale at approximately 58HRC, and can be easily sharpened. Finishing off the blade is a stunning stabilized curly white oak handle (sourced from a bottom of a firewood pile in Swannanoa valley of Western NC) attached via brass loveless bolts and a handy brass lanyard hole.
