Porsche 356 Emory Special

Meet the Porsche 356 Emory Special, a tailored one-off built with a whole lot of blood, sweat and tears. Growing up around Porsches gave me a certain affinity towards the brand, but it wasn’t till my dad introduced me to the 356 Bathtub Porsche it became my all-time fav. Emory Motorsports, which began in 1996, set with two simple goals; create the most iconic, yet personalized Porsche 356s on the planet and deliver them with a customer experience unlike any other. They focus on two different builds; the Emory Special and the Emory Outlaw. The Emory Special is a masterpiece that involves restoration and modification utilizing an interpretation of Porsche’s classic design aesthetic blended with styling cues from factory competition cars, period coach builders and original concepts of their own. Alongside the unique custom interior you’ll find mechanical upgrades like a 200+ HP engine, modern disk brakes and Porsche 911 suspension. The Emory Outlaw, like the Emory Special, begins life as a complete factory steel-bodied car. It is stripped down and restored with minor changes such as deleted, smoothed or GT bumpers, louvered deck lid and through-the-hood fuel filler to name a few. The Outlaw’s main goal is to improve handling, styling and drivability above and beyond Porsche’s competition cars from the era. With the transformation complete, the Porsche 356 Emory Special and Emory Outlaw are masterful pieces of industrial design that raise the level of the iconic Porsche 356 to an all new status.
