The Burton Step On takes one giant leap for snowboard bindings. The step-in style bindings go back to the inception of snowboarding, but those were always designed and mounted to hard-shell ski style boots that offered zero flexibility. Perfect for racing, but that’s about it. Over the years there have been many attempts to develop a system for soft flexible boots, but due to flakey and unreliable technology, they were all eventually phased out. Burton’s new Step On boot-to-binding system utilizes three secure connection points and two adjustable comfort control zones to provide the quickest and most intuitive boot to binding configuration. No more sitting on your ass at the beginning of each run, just step in and go. When the run is finished, just lean over to pull the quick release lever to exit the binding. Don’t worry about your priceless classic boards as this system has a universal mounting interface allowing the Step On to be configured to virtually any snowboard on the market.
