The SADL Stool by LMBRJK (Lumberjack) is made from digital wood. At first glance these stools look like they’ve been carved from a single log, but after a second take you’ll realize it’s layers of plywood. The SADL starts as a 3D CAD file, then is sliced vertically to create about 80 individual layers. These layers are laser cut from plywood, hand assembled, and glued together. This multilayer process creates a structure that is ergonomic, comfortable, and structurally sound. If you’re looking for something that is a little more refined, the SADL Stool also comes in a sanded and Patina finish.
Available through LMBRJK’s online store.
