Time for a vacation, the mountain retreat mansion from Ex Machina is bookable. If you haven’t seen Ex Machina (sci-fi movie based on the breakthrough and interaction with Artificial Intelligence) it’s worth the one hour and fifty for the scenery alone.
Shot on-location in a Norwegian mountain side village at the Juvet Landscape Hotel. The stunning views, slow pans and endless interior/exterior shots resulted in the Juvet stealing the show. Unlike the movie that portrays a single mountain side retreat, the Juvet Hotel consists of nine detached bookable rooms that each have it’s own perspective of the rugged landscape. Built into the landscape, these rooms consist of floor to ceiling glass walls, untreated silver wood slats, modern details, minimal accessories and a floor plan that immerses you directly into the natural surroundings. It’s ironic that a movie about the pinnacle of technology is filmed at a place where all you want to do is shed anything and everything from the artificial world.
Book a retreat regardless the season. Details and prices available directly from the Juvet Hotel.
