Mother Nature is no match for the Filson Wedge Tent. In a market full of technically designed tents, it’s nice to revert back to a classic design you know will stand the test of time. This old school design will definitely turn some heads, not just for aesthetics, but for it’s ability to withstand the harshest conditions. The Wedge Tent is crafted from a super strong 10-oz Marine finish army Duck and finished with heavy duty nylon zippers. It’s waterproof, mildew-resistant and strong enough to hold back the snow. When built, this tent creates an 8 and half feet square floor base with a height of 7 feet. This classic A-Frame design is perfect when situated between two trees, but can be easily constructed with the provided sheer poles. It’s definitely not designed for the hike-in as it weighs in at about 20lbs, but makes for the perfect structure for car camping.
