The art of thought is cast in bronze with the Ystudio Stationary Collection. With the the rise of smart technologies the pen has been pushed aside. However, there is nothing quite like scribbling down an idea on paper. Ystudio, a small company based out of Taiwan was founded in 2012 and have created a stunning collection of stationary items. Crafted from brass and copper (along with the some elements of walnut), each item is made in local factories by masters with years of experience. As with all natural materials and daily use, the brass will form a beautiful patina giving it a character all of its own. As a designer, the pencil and paper will be forever be mightier than the computer, and will always be the favorite tool in my kit.
