However it’s nice to see Grovemade has taken speakers back to the roots of music by creating an acoustically driven design. Collaborating with industrial designer Joey Roth, Grovemade designed a unique speaker that replaces digital signal processing with a custom back loaded horn design. The enclosure, which comprises basically no flat surfaces or parallel walls, achieves a perfect balance eliminating any standing waves that cause annoying distortion. Couple that with a full-range driver that trumpets out the entire frequency range and you have one uncompromising sound. Handcrafted one at a time out of American Black Walnut or Maple, the speaker is then finished with stainless steel, premium vegetable tanned leather and natural cork base. With hours upon hours on the CNC machine and skilled hand forming, the Grovemade Walnut Speaker will make a music lover out of just about anyone.
