The dial face is made from CNC-milled, three-dimensional Oregon Claro Walnut or Eastern Hardrock Maple, and surrounded by a stainless steel or 22 karat gold plated case. Curators of custom wood products, the dial face is carefully thought out highlighting the natural grain of the wood. Built with a made in Japan Miyota 5Y26 quartz movement, the watch is finished off with a wonderful vegetable-tanned leather strap. Designed in collaboration with Nike watch designer, Stefan Andrén, Grovemade has produced a visually stunning time piece that does more than tell time—it tells a story of intrigue and craftsmanship.
