The SheLLF by Ka-Lai Chen is an expression of the designer within. In the beginning, Ka-Lai Chen’s concept began as a limited production, but would eventually become mainstream with the assistance of Kristalia technology. The shelf is comprised of multiple rectangular lacquered MDF boxes of different sizes and angles, held together by invisible 45 degree joints. The multiply angles creates a visual play with space not normally associated with your average shelf. Ka-Lai, a young designer, studied in the Netherlands and attributes many of her designs to nature. It’s wonderful that she was able to get noticed for here fabulous piece as I’m sure it will inspire many modern interiors for years to come. Add some dimension to your walls here.
