The Puzzle tray was developed by Chicago-based design studio Materious and Napa Valley wine company Newton Vineyard, creating a perfect accessory representing Newton’s aesthetic approach and consistent use of ecological materials. The tray’s design is loosely based on a satellite view of Newtons vineyard. In addition to the sectioned areas, Materious terraced the pieces to give the appearance of hills. Each section can be easily removed, providing various coasters and creating shallow bowls for nuts, olives, or a wine glass. Just like a great bottle of wine, there are limited quantities so you know that when you purchase this stunning tray it will age better with time. In addition to the fabulous design, Materious have incorporated a Newton corkscrew beneath the upper right block which was inspired by a Chardonnay cellar built into the spring mountain.
