Maharishi has given new life to surplus US Army cotton with the Upcycled Hunter Hooded Jacket. It’s not your typical resale of an existing surplus garment, but rather a complete redesign. The Hunter Hooded is re-cut from US Army cotton to include new solid black arms featuring thumb hole details, a decent sized black hood, elastic base, and two front and back pockets. The body is the original camo fabric that is partially dye dipped. If the upcycling wasn’t enough, the surplus fabric is cleansed of its original military associations by being smudged with herbal incense, washed in a saffron water, then blessed. Size one up here.
