The Explorers Axe

Chop in style with the Explorers Axe from United by Blue. A collaboration between a century’s old tool manufacturer, a group of North American explorers, and a talented sign painter has resulted in a collection of 5 stunning camp axes worthy of a gallery. This collaboration started with a selection of photographers, makers, and travelers who understand the benefits and importance of preserving our outdoors for future generations to come. Each Explorer designed a handle that best represented their landscape and stood as a symbol for love of the outdoors. Once designed, each handle was meticulously hand painted by Philly based sign painter, Christian Cantiello. Design and painting aside, this axe is definitely no slouch and built for everyday camp use. It’s crafted by Council Tool (a family run manufacturer with 129 years of experience), and made with a solid hickory wood handle and a 2 lb Hudson Bay-style axe head.

Choose from 5 handle designs and available directly from United by Blue.
