Designer Jamie McLellan utilized this beauty and then some in the Odin Chair. Originally commissioned for a series of boutique alpine properties in Niseko, Japan, the Odin Chair is a fabulous combination of forms and materials that play on the juxtaposition of Nordic and Japanese cultures. With legs made from die cast aluminum, they wonderfully cradle the seat base and curved laminated solid ash. This is not the first time we’ve featured Jamie McLellan (Check out his Kayak 1 design) and as you can see his through his melding of Scandinavian simplicity and Japanese clarity that he continues to put forth some of the most awe inspiring designs on this planet.
