The Capelli Stool was originally designed in 1999 by Carol Catalano, but looks like it belongs in the mid 40s along with all the other great timeless furniture pieces. This ultra simplified stool is two identical plywood pieces, each with undulating “fingers” that interlock without bolts, screws or fasteners. It’s an amazing piece of art and ridiculously comfortable considering it’s only two pieces of wood. Perfect stool for all those spaces too small for a Nelson bench.
